THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS
-
Are Tassuw® lenses reusable?Yes. See box for specifications. We currently have 3 monthly lenses, which means you can wear the lenses every day for up to 3 months. Do not sleep in the lenses. They must be removed before sleeping. When removed clean and store in multipurpose solution.
-
What solutions must I use to clean and store the lenses?Use a multipurpose solution designed for reusable soft lenses. Follow the instructions that come with the solution. Replace lens solution every 3 days if you are not wearing the lenses.
-
Can I sleep in the lenses? No. These lenses are not designed for use whilst sleeping.
-
My lenses have ripped, what’s the problem?Reusable lenses like the Tassuw® 3 monthly lens are quite robust and rarely tear. In the unlikely event that they do tear, consider the handling technique, be gentle with them and address potential dry eyes. It is known that dry eyes dehydrate the lens making it prone to tearing. Use comfort / hydrating drops designed for use with contact lenses. Add these drops into your eyes whilst the lenses are in, to rehydrate the lens. You may also want to use dry eye drops at night or when you are not wearing the lenses. Consult an ophthalmic practitioner if the problem frequently occurs.
-
The lenses look different on me compared to the pictures on the website. The colour of the lens will vary depending on your natural eye colour, skin tone, lighting and camera used to record.
-
How many hours per day shall I wear the lenses? It is healthy to wear the lenses up to 8 hours per day. Have an annual contact lens aftercare with an ophthalmic practitioner for tailored advice suited to your eyes.

I can't see clearly with the lenses in.Check you have ordered the correct prescription (prescription details are on the box and the lens blister packs when you first open them). Check that you have the right eye lens in the right eye – and the left in the left. If unsure swap them and see! Remove the lens, clean it with solution, then re-insert. Remove the lens, flip it inside out and re-insert (it may have been inside out). Add some comfort/lubricating eye drops designed for use with contact lenses. If there is still no improvement in vision, consult an ophthalmic practitioner or email us here.
-
The lenses move too much when I blink.Remove the lens, flip it inside out and re-insert (it may have been inside out). If it still moves too much consult an ophthalmic practitioner, you may have unique shaped eyes!
