FAQ
THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS
Reusable lenses like the Tassuw® 3 monthly lens are quite robust and rarely tear. In the unlikely event that they do tear, consider the handling technique, be gentle with them and address potential dry eyes. It is known that dry eyes dehydrate the lens making it prone to tearing. Use comfort / hydrating drops designed for use with contact lenses. Add these drops into your eyes whilst the lenses are in, to rehydrate the lens. You may also want to use dry eye drops at night or when you are not wearing the lenses. Consult an ophthalmic practitioner if the problem frequently occurs.
Check you have ordered the correct prescription (prescription details are on the box and the lens blister packs when you first open them).
Check that you have the right eye lens in the right eye – and the left in the left. If unsure swap them and see!
Remove the lens, clean it with solution, then re-insert.
Remove the lens, flip it inside out and re-insert (it may have been inside out).
Add some comfort/lubricating eye drops designed for use with contact lenses.
